A two-person coin shop and refinery on Market Street
Cindi and Nick are newer to Wilmington than they are to the trade. The shop is the two of them, which means the person who greets you is the person who values your material and the person who buys it.
The useful part of this trade is learned across a counter
Before moving to Wilmington, Nick spent many years as a team member at Archangel Coins in Las Vegas. That is a high-volume market with a constant stream of unfamiliar material walking through the door, and it is where you learn the two things that matter: how to look at something carefully, and how to explain what you are looking at to somebody who has never thought about coins before.
Cindi and Nick opened here to do the same thing at a smaller scale. Coins, currency, gold and silver, bought and sold, in a shop small enough that you are talking to the owners rather than to whoever is on shift.
Whether you are starting a collection, decades into one, or holding a box you inherited and did not want, the counter is the same and so is the conversation.

Four things you can expect
It happens at the counter
Your material is looked at in front of you. Nothing goes into a back room and comes out with a number attached.
You get told what it is
Collectible, bullion or ordinary, and why. Including the pieces worth keeping rather than selling.
No pressure to sell
A good share of visitors leave with everything they arrived with and a much clearer picture of it.
Questions are the point
Nobody is born knowing what a mint mark is. Ask.
Buy, sell, gold, silver, coins, currency
It is a short list because it is an accurate one. Everything on the sign happens across the same counter, and if you are holding something that does not obviously fit any of those words, bring it in anyway.

Coins, bullion and collectible currency are commodities and collectibles. Values move with the market and with the condition and rarity of an individual piece. Nothing on this website is investment, tax or legal advice, and no price or valuation is offered or implied here. Bring your items in and we will look at them with you.
