A two-person shop does not run a warehouse. What is available is what has come across the counter recently, which is genuinely different from week to week and is part of why regulars drop in.
If you are after something specific, a date, a mint mark, a type you are filling a hole in, or a particular bullion product, say so. It costs nothing to be on the list and it is how a lot of material finds the right buyer.
If you are new to this, say that too. Nobody starts out knowing what a mint mark is, and being talked through it is a much better first purchase than guessing.

Two different things that look similar in a case
Bullion is bought for the metal in it. A one-ounce silver round is worth what an ounce of silver is worth, plus a premium that covers minting and handling. Condition matters far less.
A collectible coin is bought for what it is: date, mint, rarity and above all condition. Two examples of the same coin can sit far apart in value.
Plenty of pieces are both, and knowing which side a given item falls on is most of what a dealer does. Ask, and we will show you why a piece sits where it does.
